Initially, an appropriate amount of sample data is fed into the system. The data is processed by the system to understand the various patterns and trends in it. Finally, the machine gives outputs based on what it has learned. Thus, the more the amount of sample data there is, the more accurate the decisions of the system will be.

Machine learning has made our lives easier in a number of ways. It is used in every field starting from the business sector to the power sector. However, the main goal of utilizing this technology is the same for all the companies, i.e. to provide a better service.

Although the terms AI and ML are often misplaced in the place of each other, they are not the same. Firstly, Artificial Intelligence is a broader field than machine learning, and AI focuses on the development of intelligent systems, also known as smart systems.

Secondly, Artificial Intelligence focuses on decision making. But Machine Learning simply involves studying a huge amount of data to understand the various patterns in it. Machine Learning has the highest importance in business analytics, where a large amount of data generated every day. This data is fed back to the machine. Later, the machine gives the user the best output based on what it has learned from the given data. It helps firms to make better decisions.
